HBI 2026 Preservation Campaign

Our nation is celebrating our 250th anniversary; the need to protect our history for future generations is needed now more than ever. Historic Boston Inc. is determined to preserve Boston's legacy and protect sites furthering education, sustainability, and cultural heritage.

Our 2026 Projects Include:

  1. The Hancock House, Blackstone Block Historic District. An acquisition to become a home for our public history partners.
  2. Old Corner Bookstore, Downtown Boston. Facade restoration and updates.
  3. A.T. Stearns Counting House, Dorchester. A partnership with DCR to create a home for Speak for the Trees operations.
  4. Phillips Brooks Memorial Reading Room, Hyde Park. An acquisition returning the space to the community.

These projects epitomize our city’s history and can become landmarks for education, social justice, and environmental action.
